Job Opportunity – Ukulele Tutor

Ukulele Tutor Required – Newave Music & Arts Education is seeking an experienced Ukulele tutor to join their growing peripatetic team. We are particularly interested in tutors who are able to deliver sessions in and around schools in Solihull and Birmingham areas.

Newave Education Services is an independent award winning organisation that specialises in raising the standards of education in music and the arts through creative teaching and learning

All applicants must:

  • Have at least 2 years working within an educational domain
  • Be confident, enthusiastic and inspiring when working with young people.
  • Have a driving license and be willing to work flexible hours
  • Be able to adapt to different schools environments and behavior policies
  • Be able to appropriately plan for Ukelele tuition to groups of 15 or more

You will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and attend Child Protection and Safe Guarding training. Newave Music & Arts are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Successful candidates will be paid between £20.00 – £26.11 per hour. Flexible working time is available. (3 – 15 hours a week)
