Visual Arts Workshops with Newave Arts are designed to fit in with your school’s curriculum. Our visual arts workshops offer students and staff the opportunity to work alongside an experience creative practitioner to explore a variety of techniques.
Our visual arts workshops are designed to engage students with fun, creative and practical arts experiences that offer cross curricula links to subjects such as numeracy and literacy. All of our arts workshops offer schools a thematic approach to education and are tailored to the specific requirements of the school. We offer workshops in:
- Mosaic work: Collaborative work that can engage the individual classes or even the whole school community. Workshops can focus around themed work ranging from Tudors, World War 2 to Kings and Queens. We are able to cater for most topics.
- Textiles: Workshops involve fabric printing, weaving, sewing and many more techniques.
