Recruitment & Sign Up

It is important that our staff obtain the relevant information and documentation from you in order to process your application promptly. You will be required to undergo a enhanced DBS check and attend Child Protection and Safeguarding Training if you have not already done so. Newave Music & Arts is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share the same commitment.

What we need from you

In order to process your application we require the following checks to be made. These are:

  1. Photo Identification Check (passport or driving licence)
  2. A completed Newave Application Form
  3. A copy of your CV accompanied by any certificates of qualifications
  4. A completed Disqualification by Association form
  5. Your P45 from your previous employer or Newave Starter Checklist
  6. Completed bank details request form

Please note, in order for our payroll team to use the correct tax code we require your P45 form from your last employer. You can also notify HMRC who will allocate a tax code if this is your second employment. If we are not provided with a tax code you will be taxed at the basic rate (20%). Please follow the link on the right hand side of the page for more information about obtaining the correct tax code
